SimLab

SimLab is a scientific simulation and analysis tool that uses the weyl computer algebra system.

Weyl has a nice Mathematics substrate for modern algebra. It can be found at http://www.cs.cornell.edu/Info/Projects/SimLab/releases/release-1-0.html

Quick assessment (2024-08-03)

• Not available for download because the FTP server ftp.cs.cornell.edu is unreachable.
• The idea is to use constraint models to generate simulations in Common Lisp, Fortran, and C.
• This is explained in the 1991 paper SIMLAB: Automatically Creating Physical Systems Simulators.
