MarkHoemmen is a Person who is currently a PhD student at the University of California Berkeley. He is interested in numerical linear algebra and parallel computing. His thesis work is on rearranging algorithms on parallel machines to avoid communication. Mark is also helping to organize the lisp-matrix project, to make a high-level ANSI CL numerical linear algebra library that exploits optimized BLAS and LAPACK, and is as portable as possible.
