ELisp is the dialect of Lisp used by the GNU Emacs and XEmacs text editors. There are ways to run ELisp in Common Lisp and there are CL compatibility libraries for ELisp.

To run Common Lisp code in ELisp, see the CL and EIEIO facilities that come standard with GNU Emacs.

CLLIB contains functions to run ELisp code in Common Lisp.
